Restaurant l'Institution - Restaurant's guide - Stay In Antibes

We recently tried l'Institution in Juan-Les-Pins. A very central restaurant, and the place to be for an enjoyable evening - only an 8mn walk from Le Jardin des Iles apartment via the beach front.

The name actually says it all: this restaurant is a point of reference for food lovers in Juan-Les-Pins. Fine food, stylish decor and a good value-for-money menu.

In terms of menu, there are multiple options - which should you choose? We chose the Menu de la Mer (for 2, €44 per person), an indulgent and celebratory feast! It comprises of 5 starters (3 cold: oysters, prawns and salmon gravlax; 2 hot: fish soup and small fried fish), followed by a main course. We chose the grilled turbot, the catch of the day.

To top it all off, we enjoyed a cheese platter with 3 different cheeses, and a dessert. I chose the entremet aux fruits rouge (dessert made with berries) and Lauren, the crème brûlée (a classic!).

We wouldn't recommend this menu if you aren't hungry (obviously!) but if you are...you will be amazed by the quality of the dishes and the opulence of the full 8-course menu.
